WHAT IF IT RAINS?
At Photo Perfect Paris, we don't let a little rain dampen your holiday/vacation portrait sessions. In fact, we embrace this signature Parisian weather, making your photoshoot even more memorable. The rain rarely lasts for more than 15-20 minutes, and it tends to be light rather than heavy. We recommend bringing a stylish umbrella to use as an accessory during the shoot. In the highly unusual event of prolonged or heavy rain, we have measures in place to ensure your photoshoot goes ahead. Depending on the chosen location, we may relocate the shoot to an indoor theme or reschedule it to a later time. If necessary, we might even split the session over two days. So, regardless of the weather, we are committed to capturing your perfect moments in Paris
DO WE GET THE PICTURES IMMEDIATELY?
The images undergo a meticulous editing and retouching process to ensure they match the high-quality standards of Photo Perfect Paris. This process typically takes about 3 weeks. However, we understand your excitement to see the photos, which is why we post a teaser image on our Facebook and Instagram pages, allowing you to share these moments with your friends and family. Once the editing process is complete, a private web gallery containing the best images from your session is made available to you. This gallery can be accessed for 3 to 21 days, depending on your chosen package. You can download these watermark-free images and share the gallery with your loved ones. Additionally, you can also order prints from our third-party printing service, available worldwide. If you wish to extend or renew your gallery at any time, a fee of 35 euros will be charged
HOW ARE THE PICTURES DELIVERED TO US?
The images from your photoshoot with Photo Perfect Paris are conveniently delivered to you through a private online web gallery. This dedicated gallery is secure and personalized, offering you the freedom to view and choose your favorite images at your own pace. The photographs are watermark-free and available for both digital download and as high-quality prints. You can share the gallery with family and friends, and order prints directly from the platform. The gallery is accessible for a period of 3 to 21 days after your photoshoot, but you have the option to extend or renew this period for an additional fee. This online delivery method ensures you receive your professionally edited and retouched images in a timely and efficient manner, wherever you are in the world.
WHAT IF I WANT TO USE MY OWN PRINT VENDOR?
Of course, you are welcome to use your own print vendor. However, it's important to note the time and research invested in finding a print vendor that guarantees high-quality results and exceptional customer service. Your photos are viewed as valuable works of art, and the chosen vendor reflects this appreciation.
All prints are produced on archival-quality photo paper, ensuring a lifespan of 75-100 years with proper care. This surpasses the typical lifespan of regular photo paper, which typically lasts 5-10 years and is prone to color fading. The intention is to create images that will bring joy for years to come.
If you opt to use your own print vendor, you can purchase the high-resolution, non-watermarked images from your private viewing gallery. Please note that these images remain under copyright by Sophia Pagan Photography and Photo Perfect Paris, and you will be provided with a print release form for printing purposes. However, the quality of the final print can't be guaranteed if you choose to use your own print vendor.
WHAT IF I WANT A USB DRIVE?
At Photo Perfect Paris, we prioritize efficiency and quality in delivering your cherished moments. Although we do not offer USB drives, all images purchased in your private gallery come with digital files. These digital downloads are the quickest and most effective method to access your files, ensuring you receive your precious memories in a timely and convenient manner. With this approach, you can easily share, print, or store your photographs without the need for physical media. Remember, the quality of your images is paramount to us, and digital files guarantee the highest image resolution and quality.
CAN I GET THE RAW OR UNEDITED FILES?
At Photo Perfect Paris, we pride ourselves on delivering a final, polished product that represents both our expertise in photography and our commitment to quality. Our service includes a guided portrait session and the delivery of artistically edited images, which reflects the unique style and standard we strive to uphold in our work. As such, we do not provide RAW or unedited files under any circumstances. This is because our images, taken by Sophia Pagan Photography and Photo Perfect Paris, are copyrighted materials. Our approach ensures that the images you receive are at their absolute best, showcasing the beauty and uniqueness of your photoshoot in Paris.
CAN I GET HIGH RESOLUTION FILES?
Yes, absolutely! When you purchase an image for print from Photo Perfect Paris, you will also receive the same image in a high-resolution digital format. This allows you to have the flexibility to use the image on digital platforms, or for personal use apart from the original print. Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality images, both in print and digital formats. Please note that the digital image will be of the same size as the print you've ordered. This ensures that the image maintains its quality and clarity, even when viewed on larger screens or devices.
IS THERE A FACILITY TO CHANGE INTO ANOTHER OUTFIT?
Yes, Photo Perfect Paris provides the facility for outfit changes during their photography sessions. This flexibility is included in their 3-hour and 5-hour portrait sessions. You have the opportunity to capture your memorable moments in Paris in different styles, which can add diversity to your photo collection. By allowing outfit changes, Photo Perfect Paris ensures that clients have the freedom to express their personal style and uniqueness in every shot. However, it's important to note that time spent changing outfits will be included in the session's duration. We recommend planning your outfits beforehand to maximize your photoshoot time. Please note that facilities for changing outfits may depend on the location of the photoshoot.
DO WE MEET YOU HERE AT THE PHOTOSHOOT LOCATION?
Yes, our clients meet us directly at the photoshoot location in Paris. Once your reservation fee is received, we will send you an email with the exact meeting details, including the specific location and time. This process ensures a seamless experience, allowing for maximum efficiency during your photography session. Whether you're visiting the iconic Eiffel Tower or exploring the charming streets of Montmartre, our top-notch photographers will be there, ready to capture your unforgettable moments. WHAT IF I WANT A NIGHT SESSION?
While we understand your desire for a night session, we have found that morning sessions yield the best results for our clients. Optimal lighting conditions and reduced distractions are crucial factors in creating exceptional photographs.
Morning sessions provide us with the most favorable natural light conditions. The soft, golden hues of the early morning sun enhances the overall mood and aesthetics of the images, creating photographs that will truly stand out.
Moreover, morning sessions typically coincide with quieter times in popular tourist areas. This helps to minimize distractions and allows us to focus solely on capturing your unique story.
While we appreciate the allure of Paris at night, our primary goal is to ensure the highest quality photographs for our clients. Therefore, we exclusively offer morning sessions to guarantee the best possible photographic experience.
SHOULD I BRING ANYTHING WITH ME?
Yes, you are encouraged to bring accessories or any items that can add a unique touch to your photoshoot. Items such as funny hats, stylish shoes, vibrant flowers, a classic Parisian baguette, or even an umbrella can add an element of personality and flair to your images. If you're planning a fun picnic-themed shoot, don't forget to bring along a blanket. These additions not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of your photos but also make them more personal and meaningful. I WANT TO RECREATE A SHOOT.
We don't recreate shoots. Most likely the images you are looking at are editorial or from a stylized shoot. Both of these are created with a team of people from fashion, makeup, and hair stylists, professional models trained to pose for photography, clothing rentals, location permits, as well as hours of photography time.
None of these are services that we provide for your portrait session and we strongly advise against creating unrealistic expectations for your shoot.
Not all poses work for all people. As a professional photographer, my job is to find poses that work best for you alone, as a couple, and/or as a family. Depending on your chosen package, trying to recreate poses that may not be flattering for you is a waste of your portrait time.
Paris is a busy city and is unpredictable. Locations close for holidays, protests, and construction. Access changes due to new constructions or restrictions. We choose the best place for a shoot based on these factors and more.
You chose Photo Perfect Paris based on the portfolio of photographs that we've taken great care in crafting and we have years of experience creating portraits for our clients that we proudly stand by and will create photographs you will love for years to come. Each shoot is new and unique and will immortalize your time spent in the city of lights.
WHAT ARE YOUR POLICIES ON CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS?
At Photo Perfect Paris, we prioritize the needs and satisfaction of our clients. We have a fair and accommodating policy for cancellations and refunds. If for any reason we find it necessary to cancel your photography session, you will receive a full refund of the agreed-upon package cost. Additionally, we understand that plans can change, and we provide our clients with the flexibility to reschedule their session. You can reschedule your booking up to one year from the original date without losing your payment. Please note that refunds do not apply to client-initiated cancellations, so we recommend rescheduling to avoid any loss.
WHO IS SOPHIA PAGAN?
Sophia is a Fine Art and Portrait photographer, born in Brooklyn, New York, and is currently based in Paris, France. In Paris, she owns two contemporary portrait studios, Photo Perfect Paris and the Portrait Boutique.
Before becoming a fine art photographer, Sophia received her bachelor's degree in Graphic Arts and moved on to work in magazine publishing for 5 years working for top titles such as People Magazine, Real Simple, Sports Illustrated, Wired, Teen Vogue, Vogue, and many more. Since relocating to Paris she's had six expositions, has had work published in photography magazines, and Paris guidebooks, featured in Paris-centric blogs, and her work has been on French TV Arte and published in The New York Times. Sophia has been invited to photograph at the private residence of the American and British ambassadors in Paris and hired by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (Oscars) to photograph academy members.
